Kim obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Business from Wichita State University and for many years, she worked in Accounts Payable for Bombardier and currently, CAP Carpet.
From a young age, weekends were spent with aunts, uncles and cousins. The adults barbequed and played cards while Kim and her cousins, Tina and Debbie, played. Growing up, her cousins were like siblings and there were many warm summer days spent in the pool in Kim's backyard.
Kim played the organ and taught others to play as well. She was a member of West Heights Methodist Church, loved watching her Shocker basketball and baseball, enjoyed listening to music, attending concerts, watching music theatre and reading.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Arielle Lucas.
A visitation for Kimberly will be held Friday, March 21, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 3:00 PM, both at Resthaven Mortuary with a graveside service immediately following in the Garden of Freedom. All at Resthaven Mortuary and Gardens of Memory, 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209.
