Goldsmith, Lanola Arleata (McMillan), 89, passed to her heavenly home October 20, 2014 after a long battle with Lewy Bodies Dementia. She was born January 18, 1925 at Clarksville Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years John P. Goldsmith, a grandson Casey Clark, her parents Ira & Jewell McMillan, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by her son Wayne (Barb) Goldsmith of Goddard KS, daughter Frieda (Ben) Clark of Valley Center KS and daughter Jackie McDowell of Susanville CA, 4 grandchildren, Brian Goldsmith, Kelly Boren, Joel McDowell, Paige Launius and 6 great grandchildren, Cassidy Goldsmith, Jacob Goldsmith, Landon Boren, Ayden Boren, Kole Launius & Ripley Launius, 3 sisters Gladys Elliott of Richmond, MI, Iris Trombley of Ray, MI and Faye Prieskorn Mechanicsburg, PA. She was a member of Haven Baptist Church, Haven KS. Visitation is 1:00 pm to service time Friday Oct. 24 with a funeral service to follow at 2:30 pm at Resthaven Mortuary.
