Watkins, Leatrice Joy, 90, of Wichita, Kansas passed away Fri. Nov. 13, 2015 in Wichita. Leatrice was born on March 2, 1925 in Wichita, Kansas the daughter of Melvin and Elsie (McGhee) Teeters. Leatrice and Glenn Watkins were united in marriage on April 5, 1942 in Wichita. Together they celebrated 67 years of marriage before his passing in 2009. She worked for Kaiser Electronics in California for 20 years as a Q.A. Inspector. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 10 siblings. Survivors include her loving children, Diana (Steve) Rogers-Watkins of Wichita, Glenda (Ed) Jocz of Woodland Park, CO, Ken (Kathy) Watkins of Tracy, California, sister, Shirley Tolbertson of CA, grandchildren, Lorie Jocz of Linda, CA, Eric Jocz of Colorado Springs, CO, Christopher Watkins, Jeff Watkins and Emmy Watkins all of CA. A memorial service will be 2pm on Thurs. Dec. 3, 2015 at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita. Inurnment of Glenn and Leatrice will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita. In lieu of flowers memorials have been established to Good Shepherd Hospice, 7829 E. Rockhill St. #403, Wichita, Kansas 67206.
