Part 4. The last year of Linda’s life, her health issues got worse. She had a heart doctor, thyroid doctor and a kidney doctor.

Part 3. One day Linda and Christine took Dylan, Damion, Sonny and Amelia to Frontier City Theme Park in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The kids loved it and of course when it was picture time, Dylan didn’t want to be in the picture. Linda of course, got a souvenir cup. She collected cups like that. When she was married to Jon Henson, she collected Hardee’s breakable glasses with cartoon characters on them. I am sure Jon remembers that. Every time a new one came out, she had to go get it for her collection.
Every time I would miss spell her last name (Hanson instead of Henson), she would tell me it’s like your name except it’s Henson instead of Benson (change the B to an H).
I spent a lot of time at Uncle Albert and Aunt Pat’s house while I was growing up. One day Linda and I put our swimsuits on and greased up with baby oil. We were sunbathing in her back yard.  Linda’s grandma Florence lived next door and her Uncle Edward lived there too. Next thing we know Edward is out there with his camera taken our picture. We went running into the house.
Linda was scared of dogs, especially big dogs, even if they were friendly. She had an overactive Thyroid, which caused her hair to thin out a lot, especially in the front. Linda had OCD and those dishes had to be just right, in the dishwasher. She liked to go out to eat, especially if it was Chinese food.
Linda, Christine, Dylan, Damion and Sonny came to our lake house in Wyandotte, Oklahoma twice. Fall of 2017, before the first house buried down and then in 2018, when we were staying in a construction trailer (during the fourth of July). The kids went swimming, riding four wheelers, bicycles and shooting off fireworks. Christine pitched a tent, with mine and Carl’s help. The boys and her slept in it all night. The next morning, we were told by Christine that Sonny was saying “I’m scared, I’m Scared” all night, because he kept hearing all the noises (animals, bugs, birds etc..).


Part 2. Linda bought a record player a while back that would play the 45’s. About a year ago, when I was over there, she played some of music we lessoned to back in the late 70’s and early eighties. 
Linda babysit her niece Melissa for a while, then she got back in the workforce. She got a job at Rainbows United, Inc. Linda was bad about leaving her purse in their car. One day, Jon (her husband at the time) boxed up her purse and mailed it to Linda, from him. Linda thought for sure someone stole her purse out of their car, until she received it in the mail. She was so mad at Jon. After they divorced Linda worked at Walmart in the shoe department (during one summer, when she wasn’t driving the school bus). Her last job was at Haysville Transportation USD 261 as a bus driver. Linda liked going to lunch with her friends from work. She got approved for disability less than two years ago. 
Linda gave different family members and friends rides to Walmart, or to doctor appointments. She also gave some of her nieces and nephews rides to and from school. At one time her dad’s car broke down while he was still working at Beechcraft. He had to go into work early, so Linda took him to work first and then she took her husband Jon to work (at that time Linda and Jon only had one car).
She only gave birth to one child but helped raise a lot of her nieces and nephews. Linda’s great nephews Dylan, Damion and Sonny were in foster care. We worked hard getting Linda’s extra bedroom ready for them. They were in two different foster homes, before coming into Linda and Christine’s home. They have been with Linda and Christian for four years now. Linda adopted them about two years ago. I helped Linda call and order their new Social Security Cards. She didn’t change their last name, even though she could have. She always said “they knew who their biological parents are”. They didn’t call her mom, they called her Linda. She was strict with the boys.


My cousin Linda (Bosley) Henson. 
Linda was shy and reserved (she never wore low cut shirts). She was a Christian and attended church off and on during her lifetime. I remember going to church with her and her family. Linda’s dad Albert would get mad if we spent too much time in the nursery with baby Albert and David. One summer I went to Church camp with Linda and Teresa. I remember Randy Bosley was there also. The girls had to wear dresses or skirts, no jeans or shorts were allowed.
Linda liked to roller skate and had her own pair of skates.  Sometimes I would go with Linda and her sister Teresa or sometimes they would go with their other cousin Debbie. One day Linda went skating with Debbie at Carousel Skating Rink on West Street. Linda fell and broke her leg. The doctor told Linda’s parents her leg wasn’t healing correctly and had to be rebroken. The doctor had to rebreak it in the office. When Linda would talk about this she would say, “my leg was broken twice, once when I fell and once by the doctor”. She left with a cast on. She didn’t want to go to school using crotches, because Allison School was two stories high and that meant a lot of stairs. She was excused from all her classes about ten minutes early, so she could go up or down without getting knocked over by other students trying to hurry up and get to their other classes. 
 Linda worked at Wyatt’s Cafeteria as a teenager in Towne West Mall. She liked spending her money on clothes and records (45’s). Her dad Albert bought her a red car at the police auction. We used to drag Douglass together in that car.
Jon Henson was the love of her life. They were married December 31, 1982, in Wichita, Kansas. Jon was 22 and Linda was 19. They had one child together. A little girl they named Christine. They were married twenty-five years before they divorced. 


I really liked Linda I found her to be very compassionate and loving towards her family even when they didn’t appreciate her. We thought it was kool that we were both born in October her being 2 years older than me. She’d tell me that she was wiser. 
I will be honored to do everything I can to honor her for the loving person she was and do anything I can to help her daughter to be less stress to deal with and made to feel her mother didn’t matter because she really did. I believe she kinda helped hold that family together.
Now when we know the day and time of the funeral if you guys notice that we need something else let me know.
