Ray, M. Caroline (Connie), 97, of Derby, KS passed away peacefully on Tues. Nov. 4, 2014 at Regent Park Nursing Home in Wichita. Connie was born on Feb. 11, 1917 in Benton, KS the daughter of Frank and Theresa Stephens. Connie and Ralph Ray were united in marriage on Oct. 6, 1940 in Wichita, KS. Together they celebrated 73 years of marriage before his passing in 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother Paul Stephens. Survivors include her daughters, LaDeen (Ronald, Sr.) Betts, LaDonna Radermacher, son, Lyman H. Ray, 8 grandchildren, 5 great, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thurs. Nov. 6, 2014 with family present from 5 to 7 pm. Funeral services will be at 2 pm on Fri. Nov. 7, 2014 both at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita. A memorial has been established with Rivercross Hospice, 251 S. Whittier St., Wichita, KS 67207.
