Margaret was born on September 8, 1952, in Wichita, Kansas to Emel “Howard” Henderson and Marjorie Marie Morgan. Growing up, Margaret frequently moved and attended schools in Valley Center, Liberal, Colorado Springs, Oberlin and Wichita. After returning to Wichita in 1967, she attended North High School. In the summer of 1968, she met her future husband, Bill at a local north end hangout. They were married on October 1, 1969. Margaret was proud to celebrate 50 years united in marriage to Bill until his passing in 2020. As Margaret’s hobbies and interests changed throughout the years, her love and dedication to her family never wavered. She lovingly took care of us and would help in any way that she could. Not only was Margaret a dedicated caretaker to her family, she was a best friend to her daughter and her sister. Margaret cherished the friendships she created over the years, old and new. Our lives are forever changed and we will deeply miss her.
