81, born in San Angelo, TX to James Lloyd and Nora Lorette Brown, went home on April 28, 2017 from the Catholic Care Center in Bel Aire, KS. In 1957 she married James "Jim" O'Donnell and through his service in the Air Force lived in Europe, Texas, Oklahoma and finally Wichita. She dedicated her life to raising her family, later volunteering working as a receptionist. She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jim" O'Donnell and son, David O'Donnell. Marilan is survived by her daughter, Stephanie (Kevin) Reffner; daughter-in-law, Melinda O'Donnell; grandchildren, Kelly, Erika and Jeffrey O'Donnell, Jessica (Trent) Jones, Gregory and Daniel Reffner; and great granddaughter, Zoey. Her love was always with her family. A visitation with family present will be held at Resthaven Mortuary on Wednesday, May 3 from 6-8 PM. Services will be held at Calvary United Methodist Church on Thursday, May 4 at 1:00 PM with interment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery.
