Mary Lou Unruh

Mary graduated from Winfield High School. She later worked many many years as a Para Educator at Valley Center High School, serving students and staff with patience, care, and dedication.

In her personal time, Mary enjoyed reading and word searches—simple pleasures that brought comfort, focus, and joy. She also attended Central Community Church in Wichita Kansas.

Mary was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Robert Hall; her mother, Katherine Josephine Hall; her brothers, Clifford Hall, Donnie Hall, and Gene Hall; her first husband, Charles Conrad Baker; her husband, Jay Unruh; her son, Terry Baker; and her daughter, Connie Troyer.

Mary is survived by her sister, Kay Bradberry; her daughter, Vicki Hunt (Shanan Burke); her son in law, James Troyer; her granddaughters, Jennifer Sellin and Nichole Hestermann; and her great grandchildren, Alexa, Shane, Tyler, Avery, and Ryder.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 am on April 9, 2026, in the Rose Garden (North East corner) at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
