Mike Murphy, age 51, passed away on May 22, 2021. He was born on February 24, 1970 to Michael and Sherrell Murphy. Mike liked playing softball and fishing. His favorite team was OU. Mike loved country music and dancing. He was a flight line mechanic for 32 years at Textron Aviation. Mike was a loving and caring father and grandfather. He is preceded by his wife Jennifer Murphy; and father Michael Murphy. Mike is survived by his daughters Miranda (Jeff) Murphy and Paige (Arik) Ortiz; mother Sherrell (Mark) Dolan; brother Jeff (Jamiee) Murphy and Sam (Jennifer) Byington; grandchildren Noah, Sophia, Ellie, and Tommy Ortiz; step-daughters Savannah and Alexandria Workman; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Funeral Service will be held 10am Friday, May 28th at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W Hwy 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
