Mike began working at LearJet in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 18, then transferred to Boeing / Spirit, where he retired after 38 years of employment. During his free time, he enjoyed watching many sports and was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Oklahoma Sooners football teams.
He is survived by: his beloved cat, Gargamel, whom he cherished; his parents, Billy and Carolyn "Kay"; his sister, Kathy (Scott) Rogers; his nephew, Cody Rogers; his niece, Kaylee Rogers; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation with family will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Monday, January 6, 2025, at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209.
Graveside Service will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas.
