Ayers, Stanley, 89, retired from Smith-Stone & Snyder Insurance Agency, died July 14, 2011. Funeral service 3 p.m. Monday, July 18 at Resthaven Mortuary. Stanley was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Life member of the Wichita Gem & Mineral Society, American Legion and the Ray Price Fan Club. He was preceded in death by wife, Marjorie M. (Jones) Ayers and parents, Lester M. Ayers & Bess Ayers of Jewell, KS. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law Jay D. Ayers & wife Kris of Redwood City, CA., and Mark A. Ayers & wife Connie of Round Rock, TX. A memorial has been established with First Church of the Nazarene, 1400 E. Kellogg Dr. Wichita, KS. 67211.
