Paul U. Silveous

Silveous, Paul, 89, of Wichita, Kansas passed away Fri. Aug. 12, 2016 in Wichita, Kansas. Paul was born on May 25, 1927 in West Virginia the son of William and Julia Silveous. Paul and Garnet Silveous were united in marriage on June 1, 1947 in Salina, Kansas. Together they celebrated 69 years of marriage. Paul served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Paul owned and operated Village Restaurant in Wichita for 18 years. He later retired as a meat cutter. Paul was a longtime member of Calvary Bible Church in Wichita. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Bryan Silveous, Charles Silveous, James Silveous, Mary Silveous. Survivors include his loving wife, Garnet Silveous of Wichita, children, Paulette (Bill) Middlekauff of Wichita, Mark (Sherry) Silveous, brother, Harry (Ruth) Silveous of West Virginia, sister, Rosey Wiley of Maryland, 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10am on Tuesday August 16, 2016 at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita, Kansas. Memorials have been established in his name and loving memory with the Cornerstone Bible Church, 2535 N. Amidon, Wichita, Kansas 67204.
