Heaven gained an angel on April 4th, when Paula Sue Geneid passed away peacefully after a long battle with ongoing health issues. She was surrounded by loved ones in her final moments.
Paula was known for her caring heart and gentle spirit. She always put others before herself, showing deep compassion for those she loved and offering kindness wherever she went. She was truly a beautiful person, inside and out, and spending time with her was a gift cherished by many.
Her warmth and humor could light up any room. Paula had a special way of making people laugh, bringing joy to those around her—something that will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by her siblings, Teresa Samarah; Duke (Angie) Norris; and Timothy Standley; as well as her beloved nieces and nephews, Mariam, Ali, Samah, Sakenah, Humoodie, Hunter, and Makenna.
She is also survived by her dear friend, Donna Sutterfield, and her children, who held a special place in Paula’s heart: Larry Sutterfield, Stephanie (Brian) Tarkowski, Lisa (Brad) Ozbun, and Marcus Fleming.
Paula, we love you dearly and take comfort in knowing you are at peace, laughing in heaven with Etta May, Dannie, Michael, and baby Michael. Your memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved you.
