Robert "Bob" P. Norris, M.D.

Bob married Geraldine “Gerry” Hendrickson on May 31, 1942, in Wichita, KS. They celebrated 75 wonderful years of marriage. Bob and Gerry were longtime members of East Heights Methodist Church.

Bob attended Wichita schools and obtained his medical degree in 1943. After returning home from military service, he and four other doctors joined the Wichita Clinic in 1948 where he practiced Internal Medicine until his retirement in 1986.

Bob was active in several community organizations throughout his life, including the American Red Cross, the Downtown Kiwanis Club, the Scottish Rite and Midian Shrine.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Mildred, and his loving wife, Gerry. Survivors include Rick (Twila) Norris of Wichita, Karen (Arden) Miller of Lawrence, Ken (Cindy) Norris of Derby, 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
