Ronald "Ron" Leeroy Plopper, age 87 passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025. He was born August 20, 1937, to Arthur and Beatrice Plopper in Washington.
Ron proudly served in the United States Army and worked for Boeing as a Machinist before retiring. He was a devoted husband, father, brother and friend who will be dearly missed.
He was a preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Beatrice Plopper.
Ron is survived by his wife of 59 years, Arlene K. Plopper; daughter, Kristin (David) Velasco; son, Kevin Plopper; sisters, Janice Kramer and Connie Stille; as well as nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
Funeral Service for Ron will be held, 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 3rd, 2025, with visitation one hour prior from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, at Lakeview Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Lakeview Cemetery in the Garden of Meditation, 12100 East 13th Street North, Wichita, Kansas 67206.
