Sandra graduated from Derby High school. Sandra also received her nursing degree from Wesley Nursing school. She worked as an Administrative Nurse for most of her career at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita Clinic, and Progressive Healthcare.
On March 2, 1977 she married Charles (Chuck) Laymon.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She leaves to cherish her memories husband Charles Laymon Sr.; daughters Christina Turner and Carrie Laymon; 2 step-daughters Celesia Laymon and Carmenda Laymon; 1 step-son Charles Laymon Jr.; 3 grandchildren Taylor Siedler, Jace Turner, and Ethan Turner; 4 step-grandchildren Lorelei Laymon, Christian Laymon, Brenden Laymon, and Kamren Laymon; 2 step-great grandchildren Raina Laymon and Milo Laymon; 1 sister Sherron Magyar; and 2 brothers Donald & Ronald Costello.
A visitation for Sandra will be held Monday, March 7, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209. A funeral service will occur Monday, March 7, 2022 at 3:00 PM, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209. A graveside service will occur Monday, March 7, 2022 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
