Scott Eric Soice

Soice, Scott Eric, 38, Boeing Procurement Interface for Quality Control Manager in Seattle passed away July 15, 2011. Scott was born in Bethel Hospital, Newton, KS and graduated from Valley Center High School in 1991. He was a Wallace scholar & Craig Barton Scholarship recipient at WSU in Aerospace Engineering, receiving Senior Honors in 1996, past president of Sigma Phi Epsilon, further receiving his MBA from WSU. He started at Boeing as a college intern and professionally as a Stress and Loads Engineer then as a traveling audit team member. Scott loved music, baseball, WSU sports, photography and technical gadgets. He is survived by his parents Larry and Nicki Soice of Wichita; sister Teri Sue Berry of Valley Center; nephew Jesse Berry, girlfriend Rachel Miller; Seattle and Wichita friends and co-workers and numerous other relatives and friends. Family is receiving friends Friday 6 to 7 pm at Resthaven Mortuary. Funeral service is 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 23 at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 402 N. Topeka Street.
