With deep sorrow, but faith in God's plan we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Shirley Mae Kremer (Moon), age 90, on December 23, 2025. She was a woman of faith, love, and kindness always putting her family and others before herself.
Shirley was born May 15, 1935, in Cherokee, Oklahoma, and lived a fulfilling life dedicated to serving God and her family. She found joy in reading her Bible, camping, family vacations, and teaching her grandchildren how to make cookies and other treats. Throughout her life, Shirley called many places home, including the states of Colorado, Wisconsin, Missouri, Maryland, California, Wyoming, Oklahoma, and eventually Kansas. She leaves a legacy of strength, selfless love, and faithful service that touched all who knew her. The most important legacy she leaves is a love of God and endless faith.
She is survived by: her children, Christopher (Pam) of Huntsville, Arkansas, Nicholas of Cheney, Kansas, Julie Montgomery of Maize, Kansas, Clay (Alaina) of Williamsburg, Virginia, Cord (Mindy) of Wichita, Kansas; her 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; and two-great-great grandchildren; her siblings, Beatrice "Bea" of California, Sue of Wyoming, and Steven "Mike" of Wyoming.
She is now reunited in heaven with: her husband, Nicholas J.; her parents, Aaron and Margaret Moon; her grandson, Caleb Gale; her daughter-in-law, Helen Kremer; her brothers, James "Jim", Lonnie "Lon", and Donnie "Don"; along with her sister, Geneva "Ruth".
