Sr. Rita Schilling, ASC

She professed her first vows on July 1, 1952. Having obtained her Masters in Religious Education, she was a much beloved elementary school teacher, pastoral associate, director of religious education, and member of national vocation office staff.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lorraine (Michael) Reizer; and twin brothers, Patrick and Robert Schilling.

Sr. Rita is survived by nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews, and the Sisters of the ASC Community.

A welcoming and wake service will take place on Monday, March 13, 2023 at 10:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. All services will be held at the Chapel of the Woman of the New Covenant, Adorers of the Blood of Christ, Wichita Center, 1165 Southwest Blvd. Interment will immediately follow at the Community Cemetery of the Adorers of the Blood of Christ, Wichita.

A memorial fund has been established for the retirement of Sisters, ASC, 1165 Southwest Blvd., Wichita, KS 67213.
