Stacy Anastasia Dawn Munoz, 57, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on April 6, 2026, at her home, surrounded by family. She was born on June 15, 1968, in Hugo, Oklahoma, and was raised by mother Sharon and father Charles Leader.
Stacy was a vibrant, bubbly, and joyful person who brought laughter and warmth to everyone around her. She had a naturally fun and goofy spirit and truly loved spending time with her family especially her husband, sons, and grandchildren. Some of her happiest moments were the simple ones: going out to eat, laughing together, and just being present with the people she loved.
Stacy ran a successful daycare business, where she cared for many children with the same love and energy she gave her own family. She had a creative heart and enjoyed writing children’s stories, singing, cooking, crafting, gardening, and going to yard sales.
Stacy loved church and was passionate about her faith. She enjoyed visiting different churches, but her favorite was Radiant Church in Wichita.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Hankins; her sister, Shelley Campos; and her son, Emiliano Christian Santos Munoz.
Stacy is survived by her husband, Frank Munoz; her sons, Santiago Munoz, Estevon Munoz, and Sergio Munoz; her daughters-in-law, Kari Munoz and Linda Cao; her sister, Jenny Taylor; her brother, Duncan Leader; her grandchildren, Isabella Munoz, Kynlee Winn, Kaysen Winn, and Augustine Munoz; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209. Funeral service will be 11:00 am, Friday, April 17, 2026, at Radiant Church, 3033 S Hillside St, Wichita, KS 67216. Graveside service will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Garden of Meditation.
