He retired from Cudahy Meat Packing Company and Beechcraft/Raytheon Aircraft Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a still born son, brothers-in-law; Lawrence Helten, Marvin Defebaugh and great grandsons; Roque Jr., Joseph, and Roccy Mata.
Survivors: wife of 60 years JoAnn (Simon) Heimerman of the home, children: Charles Heimerman, Shirley (Michael) Riggle, Anton (Kathryn) Heimerman, and Catherine (Robert) Conn, all of Wichita, KS and Susan (Allen) Hemberger of Argonia, KS; sisters Margaret Helten of Garden Plain, KS, Mary Ann Defebaugh of Wichita, KS and Rosalene (Gilbert) Beat of Cunningham, KS; 23 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.
Rosary, 6pm, Sun. June 12; Funeral Mass 11am, Mon. June 13 both at St. Joseph Catholic Church with entombment to follow at Resurrection Mausoleum.
