Tamara "Tammy" F. Edenfield, passed peacefully surrounded by family on September 28th, 2025. Tammy was born on January 15th, 1949, in Akron, Ohio.
Tammy had a love for all things sports. She could talk about baseball, football, boxing, racing, you name it. Although she rooted for her hometown teams, the Browns and Indians, her heart was with the Chiefs and Royals. She never missed a Royals game, whether attending in person or watching on tv.
Tammy was an avid gardener where she created a beautiful garden at her and Jim's home for everyone to enjoy. The garden was a representation of Tammy; beautiful, caring, loving, happy. She was the salt of the earth and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, Ernie and Katie Blahnik; mother, Iris Meech. She is survived by her husband, Jim; sister, Ernestine Shafts; brothers, David and Glenn Blahnik; her children, Laura (Tom) Hand, Tara (Terry) Cook, Jake (Samar) Edenfield, Amy Rodriguez, and Marie Dick; 7 grandchildren, Ariana Cook, Reid Hand, Chase Hand, Tayten Edenfield, Lucille "Lucy" Edenfield, Jackson Rodriguez and Francisco "Kiko" Rodriguez; as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
