Terrance Lamont Collins

Terrance “Terry” Lamont Collins was born November 19th, 1973 to Melinda and Emery Collins at Clark Air Base in the Philippines. At 9 months old he moved with them to Alconbury Air Base in England where he attended daycare and picked up the cutest English accent which was very unusual when he moved back to the United States at age 4. He attended school at Rae Woodman Elementary, Truesdell and South High School in Wichita, Kansas. He moved to Del City, Oklahoma in his Junior Year and graduated from Del City High School.

He worked at UPS as an Informatics Technologist (IT) for 25 years. His last move was back to Wichita, Kansas where he reunited with Robin. Most recently he worked for Reynolds Logistics in their IT Support department. He enjoyed playing his guitar, camping, fishing and riding his motorcycle.

He is preceded in death by his father Emery Collins and his Grandparents Fred and Helen Clark, and Lilly and Lester Collins.

He is survived by his two children, Erin and Vincent Collins of Oklahoma, Robin McCarty of Wichita, Melinda and Larry DuVall of Oklahoma. He is the brother to sisters Tracey Collins and Sarah Trower Rodgers of Oklahoma, brothers Thomas Trower of Maryland and Emery of Texas. He loved his family fiercely and will be remembered by all that knew him!

A funeral service for Terrance will be held Thursday, March 31, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at 4071 - Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
