Mr. Thomas Leo Monroe, Sr., 87, passed away on July 18, 2017, at his home in Haysville, KS. Born and formerly resided in Norfolk, VA. Tom was retired U.S. Navy and LearJet. Preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Phyllis and son Thomas L. Monroe, Jr. Survived by daughters Deborah Blanton and Diana Brackhahn, 4 granddaughters and 11 great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held on MONDAY, July 24, at 10a.m., with graveside following, at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita (K-96 & E. 13th). Pastor Tom Johnson of Faith Lutheran Church of Derby will preside.
