Nelson, Vera Marie (Corbett), 95, passed away Feb. 25, 2014. Vera worked for 30 years in retail after retirement and became a very gifted artist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Merlin A. Nelson and son, Clair Don Nelson. She is survived by her son, Tommie D. (Janis) Nelson; brother, Wayne (Delores) Corbett; grandchildren, Carrie Parker, Stacy Walker, Timothy Nelson and 6 great grandchildren. Visitation with family is 6 to 8 pm Thursday and funeral service is 10:00 am Friday, Feb. 28 all at Resthaven Mortuary. Memorials may be sent to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
