Joplin, W. Lois, 94, passed away February 25, 2016. Lois was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved and cared not only for her family, but for many others around her. She lovingly tended the roses and flowers around her home. Lois was a Dental Nurse for 17 years caring for and comforting patients who often became good friends. She is preceded in death by parents Ben and Pearl Joplin; son Gayln Batson; brothers Robert, Rayburn, and Mitchell; sisters Alma and JoAnna; and grandchild Leticia Myers. Lois is survived by son Gary (Linda) Baston; daughters Nancy (Steve) Sperry and Pam Stidham-Terry; grandchildren Steven Jeremy Stidham, Brandy (Rocky) Barlow, Erik (Michele) Batson, Jamie (Thomas) Rogers, Mitch (Janelle) Sperry, Gayla (Richard) Rush, and Julie (Doug) Moore; and 18 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held Monday, February 29 from 5-7 PM and funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 1 at 3:00 PM both at Resthaven Mortuary.
