Wayne W. Watkins

Wayne W. Watkins, 64, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021 in Wichita. Wayne was born the son of Jimmy Watkins and Gearadine Jones on July 8, 1957 in Wichita, Kansas. Wayne served in the United States Navy and Army National Guard for 19 years. Wayne worked for Frank Bills Trucking for 18 years. He was an avid pool player and spent lots of time playing at Bricks in Augusta, KS and Shooters in Wichita. He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter; Harley Westbrook. Survivors include his daughters; Samantha (Brian) Smith, Cynthia (Jonathan) Nunez, Amanda (Travis Westbrook) Watkins, brothers; Joe Watkins, Shanon Watkins, grandchildren; Stephanie Watkins, Tiffany Watkins, adopted children and grandchildren; Dawn and Justin Lyman, Loni Koehn, Addi Koehn and extended family. Celebration of Life Services will be 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary, 201 S. Hydraulic, Wichita, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Watkins Family for final expense assistance.
