

William Arthur Blick, 76, of Wichita, Kansas, was born June 15, 1949, in Wichita, Kansas, and passed away on March 3, 2026. A formal and respectful remembrance is offered for a kind-hearted man whose steady presence and quiet passions left a lasting imprint on those who knew him. After this introduction, William will be remembered as “Bill.”
Bill was a proud graduate of West High School, Class of 1967. He later attended WTI and was FCC Licensed, reflecting the careful, capable mind that served him throughout his life.
A United States Navy Veteran, Bill carried his service with dignity. He later retired from Aeroflex, where he worked as an aircraft communications equipment specialist—work that suited his precise skills and lifelong interest in the technical world.
Bill was a classic rock music collector who was well versed in music trivia, and he took great enjoyment in collected stereo equipment. He also enjoyed trains and model train collecting, finding satisfaction in the detail, history, and craftsmanship they represented. These interests were more than hobbies; they were part of the way he connected—with memories, with curiosity, and with the people who shared in his enthusiasm.
Bill married Constance (McCutcheon) Blick, and they celebrated 34 years of marriage before her passing in 2015.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Evelyn (Pechanec) Blick, his beloved wife Constance, infant daughter Tasha Rhianne, brother David Blick, brother-in-laws Richard, John and Randy Snodgrass, sister-in-laws Brenda and Angela LeFleur.
Bill is survived by his daughter Britny (Stephen) Hughes, sisters Gloria Allen, Donna Michell, Mary Freeman, Christine Snodgrass, Rita (Steve) Cronk, brothers Nicholas Blick, Eric (Diane) Blick, Arthur Blick, Jr., grandchildren Emma Rose Harmon and Ethan Owen Harmon, Amber Nichole Hughes, Shannon Elizabeth Hughes, Johnathan Michael Hughes, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Rosary will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4411 W Maple St, Wichita, KS 67209, on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church, on Monday, March 9, 2026, at10:30 am. Burial will take place at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Wichita on March 9, 2026.
In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Bill's memory to the American Heart Association or Kansas Humane Society.
