Yvonne Rene Nassif passed away on Monday, February 11, 2025, at the age of 79, in Wichita, Kansas. She was born to the late Louis and Lydia (Ferris) Nassif on May 26, 1945, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Sister to Beverly, Debra, and Brad.
After graduating from West High School, Yvonne worked over 30 years as a factory worker for Farmland Foods. She was especially close to her sister Debra, with whom she lived for most of her life. Yvonne was a gentle soul; she was kind hearted, humble and self-effacing. She believed in God throughout her life. The last few months of her life seemed like the best of her 79 years. She was well cared for and looked forward to a new life of independence after Debra died, but God had other plans. She soon fell ill and declared she was ready to depart this life to be reunited with her family.
Those left to honor her memory are her siblings: Beverly Taylor and Brad Nassif; nephews and nieces: Jeffrey Taylor, Jason Taylor, Kim Volhein, Melanie (Michael) Nassif DeRenzo, Megan (Luke) Taylor Gilstrap, and Jacob Taylor; great-Nieces and nephews: Gage Taylor, Dakota Taylor and Autumn Volhein; and great-great nephews, Oliver Gilstrap and Nicholas Gilstrap.
