James "Jimmy" C. Nicholas, beloved husband, brother, uncle, son in law and friend, passed away on May 21, 2023. He was born on July 17, 1961, and leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Jimmy was a devoted husband, married to the love of his life, Bethany (Talmage) Nicholas, for 20 wonderful years. Their bond was unbreakable, and their love for each other was an inspiration to all who knew them.
Raised in Westbrook, CT, Jimmy spent his final years in Weirsdale, FL, embracing the warmth and beauty of the Sunshine State. Throughout his life, he had a deep appreciation for nature's wonders. Whether casting a line into a calm lake or strolling through serene landscapes, Jimmy found solace and joy in the great outdoors.
Fishing was one of Jimmy's passions, as it allowed him to connect with nature and experience the tranquility of the water. It was during these peaceful moments that he felt most alive and content. He had a genuine love for animals, and his gentle spirit resonated with them.
In his leisure time, Jimmy could often be found unwinding with a Budweiser in hand, enjoying the simple pleasures of life. Music was his constant companion, providing a soundtrack to his days and nights. It lifted his spirits and carried him through both good times and bad.
Above all, Jimmy treasured the moments spent with his family and friends. His infectious laughter and warm presence brought joy to those around him. He shared a special bond with his sister, Kim St. Amour, and adored his nieces, Juniper Negron and Jeannette St. Amour, as well as his nephew, Cyrus Negron.
Jimmy's parents, James Edward Nicholas and Joyce Eleanor (Snyder) Nicholas, preceded him in death. Their love and guidance shaped him into the compassionate and caring person he became.
In honoring Jimmy's memory, let us remember the passion he had for life and the love he showered upon those closest to him. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and unwavering devotion to his beloved wife, Bethany.
Though Jimmy is no longer with us, his spirit lives on in the memories we hold dear. May he find eternal peace, casting his fishing line in calm waters, surrounded by the beauty he cherished.
