A Tribute to a Very Special Aunt, Titi Julie

Some people come into our lives and leave an imprint so deep that it changes us forever. My Titi Julie was one of those people. She wasn’t just my aunt she was like a second mother to me. She cared for me, guided me, and loved me unconditionally throughout my life.

How do I sum up the life of a woman who was not just my aunt but another mother to me? There’s are so many wonderful memories.There was a time when my brother, sister, and I lived with my Uncle George and Titi Julie, and those days remain etched in my heart. I remember the warmth of her love, the way she made us feel safe and cherished, and the countless ways she nurtured us. She was a guiding light, filling every corner of our world with love, laughter, and kindness. Titi Julie was the heart of our family.

Her spirit was radiant! She had an energy that could brighten even the darkest of days. She was happy, sweet, kind, and full of laughter—I can still hear it now, a sound that instantly brought joy to those around her. She danced like no one was watching, living in the moment with a carefree spirit. And when she played golf, you just knew she had the talent to make a hole-in-one and did several times!  Her cooking was amazing and one ever entered her home without feeling like family and being full when they left. 

Like my mother, she was strict, but made you feel so loved. It breaks my heart knowing that two such vibrant souls, who brought so much life and love to others, were dimmed by such an unrelenting illness.  I know they are together again, and I can hear their laughter echoing in heaven just as it did here on Earth.

Titi, thank you for being there for me from my childhood through my adult years, and even as I became a parent myself. You made our world a happier, more loving place, and I am so grateful for all the love and kindness you’ve always shown Nino, Isabella and I! I will cherish every memory of you!! I love you beyond measure!!

I'm so sorry to hear of Julie's passing, she was a kind fun spirited lady, she will be truly missed. My condolences go out to her family and friends as I know she cherished you all.

Our condolences to you George and the kids. It seems like a lifetime ago that we've seen each other and it's sad that contacting occurs under the worst circumstances. Julie was very special, cheerful, funny, and always warm to others. I will always have fond memories of her. Our prayers from me and my wife whom I hope someday you will meet, are with you. I have many fond memories of your mom and visiting your family with my parents when I was little. Your mom was so fun, sassy and sweet! 
I loved visiting with her and enjoyed her amazing cooking, especially her Monkey Bread!

George and family, I have warm and fond memories of Julie. As a former neighbor I remember our early neighborhood and block parties. I remember dancing on the square in Spanish Springs with Anne, Julie, George and so many of Cameron Villa friends. I remember George and Julie trying to teach us the Latin dances. I learned that I really do have two left feet. 

Moving out of the neighborhood I have missed seeing Julie. I realize she had not been well but her loving husband George was always there for her. She is now at peace.  May God bless you Julie and George.

George and Julia were our best friends when they lived in Morrisonville.   Many a evening we would share with lots of laughter and fun. They had the best parties dancing the night away.   We had many adventures together camping, trip to New York City which was so much fun exploring, and our trip to beautiful Purto Rico, where we were were treated like family.  Our children and theirs grew up together eating Julie's wonderful dishes. We love them dearly and will truly miss Julie's love for life. She will be missed by all who knew her.
