

He is survived at home by his wife of 73 years, Bertha Delgado, eldest daughter Deborah Lynn Delgado and fur grandbaby Xena.
Stephen leaves behind his youngest daughter Bertha McKeon (Mark)(Milford, PA) , son Steven Delgado (Salisbury Mills, NY), beloved grandchildren Rachel Taylor (Charles) (Salem,AL), Cruz Stephen Delgado (Newburgh,NY) ; grandson Jason Tomer , granddaughter Jamie Minnigh (Jadd), his beloved sister Daniela Villarrubia (Robert) and numerous nieces and nephews that he loved with all his heart; sister in law Mildred Velez, brother in law William Negron(Kay) and friends who to him were family.
He was predeceased by his mother Celia Hernandez, beloved older sister Carmen Wallace(Tony) and a brother Tony Delgado, brother in law Raymond Velez.
Stephen was a proud Army veteran who served in the Korean War. He was retired from the Port Authority of NY & NJ where he was employed for over thirty years.
Stephen was the best and most devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend whose goodness and unending generosity we will hold in our hearts forever.
A Celebration of Life for Stephen will be held on Monday, April 20, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm with a prayer service beginning at 2:00 pm followed by military honors at Dignity Memorial Life Celebration Center, 7134 Powell Road Wildwood, FL.
