Laura M. McClellan

Laura M. McClellan (80) of Greenwich, died Saturday, June 11, 2016 at her daughters residence. She was born July 21, 1935 in Sunbury, PA to the late Harrison Ray and Anna Mae (Lloyd) Tharp. Mrs. McClellan was retried from Pepperidge Farms and a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Willard. She enjoyed embroidering, crafts, painting ceramics, puzzles and reading.

Mrs. McClellan is survived by daughter: Carol (Randy) Barnett of Willard, 3 sons: Bruce (Carol) McClellan and David (Patty) McClellan, both of Willard, and Barry McClellan of Greenwich. 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 brothers: Ray C. Tharp of Baltimore, MD and Jack R. Tharp, unknown, and sister Betty Jean Pitzinger of Baltimore, MD. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Evert Beecher “ Tiny” McClellan, son: James E. McClellan, 2 sisters: Naomi A. Clay and Nancy L. Sperko and brother: Harry Tharp.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 16, 2016 at the Willard Church of the Nazarene. Burial will be at Ripley Cemetery, Greenwich. Friends may call 5-8 P.M.
