Linda (Lin) S. Haas (68) of Dayton went to be with her Lord Tuesday, January 29, 2018 at Grandview Hospital, Dayton. She was born March 18, 1949 in Beckley, WV to the late Donald Eugene and Madge Louise (Tyler) Swepston. She moved to Ohio in 1956. Lin married the love of her life, Charles (Chuck) Haas on April 3, 2008. Lin retired from U.S. Express as a Truck Driver and later a Driver Liasion. She enjoyed painting, karoke singing, and loved to dance. Her family was very important to her and they brought her great joy when she was able to spend time with them.
Lin is survived by her husband Charles L. Haas of Dayton; son: Troy (Brooke) Sexton of Lewis Center; daughter: Tierra Woods of Waverly; 5 step-children; Sister: Judy (Steve) Anderson of Plain City; brothers: Carl (Anne) Swepston of Julian CA, Keith (Cindy) Swepston of Ray, Earl (Debbie) Swepston of Waverly. Lin is also survived by her grandchildren: Nicholas, Hannah, Lani, Linisha, Layton; and 7 step-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call Saturday February 3, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Selah Ministries, 38 S. Fairgreen Dr., Dayton with a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 2:00 PM, Pastor Dwight D.
