Stella Brooks

Mrs. Brooks was a graduate of Willard High School, Class of 1944 and was employed by the B & O Railroad in April 1944 working in all departments as a secretary, retiring in 1984. She was an avid gardener and known for her flower gardens and working out-of-doors and a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. She was married June 1, 1952 to James R. Brooks who preceded her in death in 1986.

Mrs. Brooks is survived by 4 nephews and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers and a sister.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 20, 2013 at Lindsey-Kocher Funeral Service, 323 Myrtle Avenue, Willard. Friends may call 11:00AM until the time of the service Friday at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Willard.
