She was a beautiful and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister and friend with a warm smile, and a kind and generous heart. Bobbie Jean, as she was known in her early years, moved to Pulaski, VA and graduated from Madison College before settling in Lynchburg, VA to raise her family. Later in life, Nanny moved to Williamsburg, VA to be closer to her children and grandchildren. Left to cherish her memories are her children, Charlie D. Ferguson, Jr., Lisa Garner (Kevin), Julie Russell (Stephen); her brothers, Tom Linkous (Rhea), Freddie Linkous (Leta); Sister in Law, Shirley Linkou; cousins, Judy Davenport, Mary Ferguson, as well as many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
