

After serving his country as an Army Sergeant during the Korean War, he graduated from the University of Rochester with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He was employed by Stromberg-Carlson and Computer Consoles, Inc. in Financial Administration.
During the years, he enjoyed participating in a variety of sports and was an avid photographer whose beautiful photographs grace the walls of his family’s homes. He and his wife also enjoyed traveling in their motorhome extensively throughout the country, particularly enjoying winters in Florida and annual summer visits to the coast of Maine.
Bruce attended Williamsburg Community Chapel and loved his family above all.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Fayette and Ethel Hughner. Survivors include his wife, Glenna Hughner; son Brian; daughter Julie; grandchildren Brin and Zachary Prybylski; sister-in-law Lois Bailey; brother-in-law Bruce (Shirley) Martin; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, grand-nephews and extended family.
There will be a Celebration of Life in his hometown of Rushville, N.Y. during the summer at a later date.
