

After receiving his BS in Metallurgical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, Mr. Wistar worked for the Aluminum Company of America. After a successful career spanning nearly 40 years from ALCOA. In 1977 he retired and moved with his wife, Jean, to Kingsmill in Williamsburg.
Locally, he was a member of Williamsburg Presbyterian Church, and Crown Colony Club. He was a founding member of Kingsmill’s Odd Lots and Kingsmill’s Ball Hawks. He was also a volunteer starter for the PGA golf tournaments at Kingsmill for nearly 25 years, and enjoyed boating and golfing.
He is survived by his son, Charles M. Wistar (Andrea Treat Wistar); daughter, Nancy W. Goodell (the late Robert L. Goodell); grandchildren, Roger P. Wistar, Margaret G. Beach and Kathryn G. St. Clair; and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will take place at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 3 at Williamsburg Presbyterian Church, 215 Richmond Rd., Williamsburg.
