He was preceded in death by his uncle, Robert McKown; grandfather, Evans McKown; grandfather, Alex Elliott; and great-grandmother, Ruby Jones.
Cheyne worked as a landscaper for RM 2, LCC. Not only did Cheyne have an extreme love for his family and friends, but he had an amazing passion for sports and the outdoors. He had faith in the Lord Jesus Christ who pulled him through many trials. He had a heart of gold and an amazing soul! He would do anything for anyone including giving them all he had, his last dime. He was the first to crack a joke and would always make everyone smile. He had a love for hunting, fishing, baseball, surfing, snowboarding and football. He loved the water and was a big fan of the Steelers and Yankees.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother and stepfather, Cindy and Charles Kim; father and stepmother, Mark and Leslie Elliott; sisters, Meghan Elliott and Leah Schy (fiancée Chad Concepcion); niece, Sawyer Sharpe; maternal grandparents, Sanford and Judy Wanner; paternal grandmother, Ellen Elliott; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Monday, October 22, 2018 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg, VA. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 23 at Upward Church, 3687 Ironbound Rd, Williamsburg, VA.
