Connie achieved an associates degree in Business Administration from Bucks County Community College in Newtown, PA, and then actively worked toward obtaining a degree horticulture from Delaware Valley University. Over the years, Connie continued to educate herself on painting and drawing techniques.
Connie spent a lifetime interested in art and drawing. She studied the techniques of the old masters and for many years did her own drawing and painting. She was a fan of gardening and liked to work in the yard tending to the flowers and shrubs. Connie made a habit of following the news and was always ready with an opinion about the political topics of the day. She was also interested in birds and history and was skilled at sewing.
Connie enjoyed receiving visits and calls from friends and family. She liked to sit and talk over a cup of tea, especially reminiscing about the past. She felt a sense of satisfaction from cooking and baking for others, particularly her chocolate chip cookies that she would send out to family. She was known for her love of chocolate ice cream and enjoyed receiving fresh flowers.
She is survived by her children, Christopher Wiemken (Chandler Scarborough) and Kat Sindab (Paul Sindab); her grandchildren, Aaron, Sapphira, Jazzmia, Zabien, Zamiria, and Esaias; and her great-grandchildren, Anaïse, Arïyah, and Castiel. She is also survived by her sister, Ginny.
