Elna Waltrip Pitts, age 80, passed away August 12, 2023. She was a resident of Williamsburg, VA. Elna was a long time Commissioner of Revenue for the City of Williamsburg, and attended Olive Branch Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband, Danny B. Pitts; sons, Jeff Pitts (Melissa), and Randy Pitts (Amy); many grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is also survived by two sisters, Ginny King (David) and Edith Baker.
A visitation for Elna will be held Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, Virginia 23188, with a service to follow at 1:00 PM. A burial will take place at 2:00 PM at Cedar Grove Cemetery, 809 South Henry Street, Williamsburg, Virginia.
