Frank was born in New York City to Rose and Frank Yoerg. He attended St. John’s Prep and graduated from St. John’s University with a degree in mathematics. He worked in the semi-conductor In for many years eventually starting his own company.
Frank married Kathleen in 1965 and the couple had 3 children, Kristin, Lisa Yoerg (Nishikawa) and Steve (Lucy Bryan). They were blessed to have 5 grandchildren, Lauren, Sarah, Will, Louis and Rose.
He enjoyed working in his garden and tooling around town in his little red sports car. Frank’s greatest joy in life was his family especially spending time on the Outer Banks where all would gather to celebrate many of life’s major milestones.
After retirement, Frank and Kathleen enjoyed traveling to destinations near and far. Their Safari trip to Tanzania inspired a life long love of photography which reflected his deep appreciation for all of God’s wonderful creations. Frank also volunteered at Fish and the homeless shelter.
Services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, December 10th at St. Bede Catholic Church, 3686 Ironbound Rd., Williamsburg.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Frank's honor to the Williamsburg House of Mercy, 10 Harrison Ave, Williamsburg, VA 23185, or St. Bede Catholic Church.
