Greg was a loving husband, father, brother, and son. He was born in Buffalo, New York and, although the family moved to Williamsburg when he was a young boy, he always remained faithful to his roots as a lifelong Buffalo Bills fan (Go Bills!). As an active Boy Scout, Greg achieved his Life Scout status at a young age. He attended Walsingham Academy and graduated from Lafayette High School. He also graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in History and Cinema Studies from SUNY Courtland and was an avid and knowledgeable sports fan (all of which was not lost on family and friends as the designated "phone-a friend" for any tough history or trivia questions). He was a hard-working and dedicated employee to Ferguson Enterprises for 20 years, working for Ferguson while living in both Williamsburg and Minnesota, where he was a member of Ascension Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Greg is preceded in death by his father, Douglas Dodge, and stepfather, Roger Millirons. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Tami, his brilliant daughter, Kylie, and his adoring cat, KeKe, as well as his loving stepdaughters, Tiffani Wallace (Terrance), Lindsay Nelson (Mike) and his grandchildren, Taleah, Tia, Fox and Elwood. He is also survived by his mother, Maxine Millirons, and his brood of many siblings, step-siblings and in-laws, Jeff Dodge (Laurie), Rick Dodge (Jen), Byron Millirons (Julie), Angie Sims, Darlene Dodge, Lori Bertone (Toni), William Proulx (Mariel), his stepmother, Rebecca, and many nieces and nephews. He leaves many lasting memories with his life-long friends (especially Snuzz and the Wise).
We come together to celebrate Greg's life, his kind heart, and his patient soul on Friday, March 8, at 1:00 pm at Nelsen Funeral Home in Williamsburg.
Our hearts are broken, Greg had so much more living to do, he will be forever loved and missed by his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, his extended family has asked for donations to support Tami and Kylie during this difficult time, as well as for future support of Kylie's education: https://www.gofundme.com/f/greg-dodge
