James Thomas Killilea was born 26 September, 1936 to James and Evelyn Killilea in Providence, Rhode Island. A graduate of Providence College, Jim joined ROTC in 1954 and set off on a worldwide adventure. Jim served 20 years in the in the military, 20 years in civil service, and taught Psychology at St. Leo’s University. He is survived by his brother, Dennis (Joanne); four children James (Dana), Michael (Dawn), Thomas (Shawna), and Kathleen (Michael). He is predeceased by his wife Shirley (2013). He has seven grandchildren and a growing platoon of great-grandchildren. He maintained that NOT being assigned to the Pentagon was his greatest achievement. Outgoing, people centered, and generous, he did it his way. A lifetime Republican, he was excited to be voting democrat in the next election.
