Jerry Meredith Carver (Cooper), 82, of Lanexa, passed away Saturday March 12th, 2022 peacefully in her sleep. Even though a failing heart took her away from this world, her loving soul left a beacon of light for all in the community.
Jerry was preceded in death by her father, Lenard F. Cooper Sr.; mother, Hazel A. Cooper (Wiley); and a sister, Mrs. Shirley Cambre.
Jerry is survived by five siblings, Mrs. V. Jean Wirt, Mrs. JoAnn Satterwhite (David), Mrs. Helen Eldridge, Mrs. Patricia Maringer, and Mr.Lenard F. Cooper Jr. (Joan). A proud mother of her five children, Mrs. Lisa Bridges (Tabb), Mr. Franklin D. Carver Jr., Mr. David L. Carver, Mr. Howard C. Carver (Christine), and Mrs. Sherrie C. Miller (Greg).
Her cheerful attitude and bright smile will be missed by her eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and adopted family along the way.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday March 26th at 2pm at the Faith Fellowship Church,112 School House Lane, Williamsburg, VA 23188.
The family will receive guest after the service.
