Jimmy had a long military career with the National Guard and Army, retiring after 42 years of service to his country.
He was a big family man and a lifelong member of the Moose Lodge. An avid Redskins fan, he also enjoyed bowling, golf, karaoke.
A kindhearted man, Jimmy never met a stranger, would never say a bad word about someone, and would give the shirt off his back for anyone.
He is survived by his wife, Josephine Ketron; sons, Greg Ketron (Wenesday) and Robert Matschke (Beth); daughters, Donna Matschke and Robin Ketron (Kenny James); along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Williamsburg Moose Lodge 757, 5429 Richmond Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23188 on Saturday May 31, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
