John H. Dobson, 74, died on October 16, 2017. He retired from the U.S. Navy after 35 years of service, including during the Cuban Crisis of 1961. Mr. Dobson is survived by his wife, Linda; sons, Jeff, Lee, and Brian and their spouses; and nine grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 20 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, where remembrances will be shared at 3:00 PM.
