John served in the Army in Vietnam during 1967 to 1968.
John and Deborah married and resided in Reston, Virginia. He retired as a federal agent with Customs and the Loudoun County Water Authority. John was a devoted Mason with the Ashburn Masonic Lodge.
After retiring, john and Deborah moved to Williamsburg, Virginia. Shortly after, he began volunteering with Colonial Williamsburg. He was a very active and passionate volunteer at the Liberty Lounge since the founding in 2016.
