Joseph Paul Cesario

Joseph Paul Cesario, 79, son of Angelo and Antoinette, brother of Paul, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 6:50 p.m. at Hospice House & Support Care of Williamsburg. He was born in Brooklyn, New York in March of 1938 and married Joan Renzy in September of 1958. Mr. Cesario served in the United States Air Force Reserve from August 1956 to July 1962. Following his military service, he worked as the Director of Information Technology for Philip Morris International. He traveled extensively in Europe, Asia and South America configuring and integrating a vast network of telephone and computer systems for multisite facilities through Philip Morris International. In addition to his parents, Joseph was predeceased by his wife, Joan. He is survived by his present wife, Joy Hoffmann, his four children, Karen, Craig, Tracey and Meghan, his 11 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Visitation will take place at Nelsen Funeral Home on Strawberry Plains Road in Williamsburg, Virginia on Monday, October 2, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. A funeral Mass will be offered at St. Bede Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 11 a.m. Following his interment at Williamsburg Memorial Park, there will be a celebration of his life at the home that he and Joy shared. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice House & Support Care of Williamsburg or Virginia Peninsula Foodbank in Hampton, Virginia.
