Kirsten Marie Bender

Kirsten Marie Bender, 50, of Williamsburg, Virginia passed away July 25th, 2020. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Herman and Nellie Bender; and maternal grandparents, Henry and Peg Recchia. She is survived by her parents, Robert and Carol (Recchia) Bender; sister, Lisa Kincaid and brother-in-law, Ron Kincaid; nieces and nephew, Chelsea and Anna Yanc, and Bailey Kincaid. She was a member of The Arc and St. Bede Catholic Church, as well as active with Colonial Behavioral Health. Kirsten’s hobbies were arts and crafts, singing with peers, dancing to Michael Jackson tunes, and family gatherings. She was also an avid football fan of the Redskins. The Bender’s wish to thank all who touched Kirsten’s life. Kirsten’s smile and winning personality brought out the best in all she came into contact. She will be missed by many. May her life be a blessing. A visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Wednesday, August 5th at Nelsen Funeral Home Williamsburg, with a service to follow at 8pm.
